How to play

Open a cell to see how many mines touch it, counting all eight neighbours. A cell with no mines around it opens its neighbours by itself. Use the numbers to work out where the mines are and mark them with flags. Open every cell without a mine to clear the board; opening a mine ends the game. When a number has as many flags around it as its value, tap the number to open the rest of its neighbours at once. Your first cell and the cells around it never hold a mine. Beginner is 9×9 with 10 mines, Intermediate 16×16 with 40, and Expert 30×16 with 99, turned upright on tall screens. The counter on the left shows the mines left to flag, and your best time and clears are shown for each difficulty.
