Owl Night Flight

Help a young owl find its way home through the night forest in 20 one-screen stages. Take every feather, then fly into the nest hollow. Jump, flap once in the air and glide over thorns, past bats, on drifting logs and through the wind. Your progress is kept on this device.

How to play

Each stage fits on one screen. Take every feather on it; when the last one is taken, the nest hollow lights up. Go into it to clear the stage, and the next one opens. Jump with the jump button. Press it once more in the air to flap and go a little higher (once per jump). Keep holding it while falling to glide slowly down: gliding carries you over wide gaps. Thorns, bats and falling off the bottom of the screen send you back to the start of the stage. Branches can be jumped onto from below. Thin twigs break a moment after you land on them and grow back later. Logs drift from side to side and carry you along. Updrafts lift you up, and wind pushes you sideways. Some stages are dark, where only the light around the owl, the fireflies, the feathers and the nest can be seen. In the last stages the sun is coming up: get home before the time runs out. Every stage hides an acorn. Taking it is not needed to clear the stage, but the stage list shows which ones you found. Your best time for each stage is kept too. The owl waits at the start of each try until your first move.
