Crowd Gates

How to play

Your crowd runs down the road by itself; you choose the lane. Rows of gates, walls and red crowds come one after another, and the crowd goes through whatever is in its lane. Blue and green gates add to or multiply the crowd (×2, +20). Orange gates take people away (−10, ÷2). A wall cuts the crowd in half. Running into a red crowd starts a fight: both sides lose people one for one, and if yours runs out first the stage is over. The boss waits at the end of the road with its strength shown above it. Reach it with a bigger crowd to clear the stage. The more of your crowd is left after the fight, the more stars you get, up to three. Clearing a stage opens the next. Later stages are longer and faster, with bigger red crowds, more walls and a stronger boss, so every choice counts. The crowd waits at the start until your first move, and after a pause it waits again.

Controls

Touch: swipe left or right on the road to change lanes (a long swipe crosses two), or tap the left or right side of the road. The ◀ ▶ buttons under the road work too. Mouse: drag or click on the road, or click the ◀ ▶ buttons. Keyboard: ← → or A, D change lanes; ↑, W or Enter start; Space, P or Esc pauses and resumes.
